FZ Art Studio continues its Heroes of War series with one of the most requested figures in the 1/6 historical space: Lu Bu, the Flying General of the Three Kingdoms. Four SKUs cover two head styles — FZ037/FZ038 with the realistic head sculpt, FZ039/FZ040 with an alternate stylized head — each in standard and deluxe editions.

The figure

The standard FZ037 ships with two head sculpts — a realistic Lu Bu with magnetic movable eyes and an original-style head — plus two matching crowns, an articulated body and eight hands. The costume is a full armor set with twin pheasant plumes, layered robes, sash, cape and padded undergarments. Weapons include the iconic ~48 cm halberd (方天画戟) and a sword with scabbard. The figure stands about 44 cm to the plume tips.

Deluxe edition

The FZ038 deluxe adds ten hands, a bow with six arrows, bow and arrow bags, and the centerpiece: an articulated warhorse with 13 points of articulation, complete with horse armor and a flag set — the full Flying General tableau.

Availability

Domestic retailers list the standard at ¥1588 and the deluxe at ¥2688, with pre-orders closing 9 November 2026 for an estimated Q4 2027 release. Product photography via 拆盒网 (chaihezi.com).

Why it matters

Three Kingdoms generals are a staple of the 1/6 historical market, and a Lu Bu with dual magnetic-eye heads plus an articulated horse is an ambitious package. The November cutoff leaves a few weeks to decide — the deluxe is the one to get if the horse fits your shelf.
