HASUKI (神猫跳动) has opened pre-orders for the next Pocket Art release: the Jinwu Guard Vanguard (金吾卫前卫, PA014), a 1/12 figure that fuses Ming-dynasty imperial guard armor with modern equipment. The 16.5cm figure is built from fabric, ABS and PVC, and the pre-order window closes 2026-11-25, with arrival estimated for September 2027.

The package

The hook is the costume fusion: chainmail-style shoulder guards and skirt armor sit next to a plate carrier-style vest, a walkie-talkie, a navigation panel and a phone panel. The figure ships with three movable-eye face plates — masked, combat and smile — plus six pairs of hands, so it can read as a masked guard or a more expressive character depending on the setup.

The hardware side is well stocked: a QBZ195T rifle with holographic sight and vertical grip, four magazines, a tactical vest with shoulder armor, a pair of arm armor, and a tactical belt with waist and front/back skirt armor. An eye adjustment rod and display stand are included for posing.

Why it matters

Pocket Art has been HASUKI’s original-design line, and the “TRN Tactical Ming” concept is one of its most distinctive themes — Ming-dynasty silhouettes re-imagined with contemporary gear, done with real costume detail rather than as a joke. At RMB 398 (approx. US$56), PA014 sits in the line’s usual accessible band, and the order cutoff of November 25, 2026 is only about a month out, so anyone interested shouldn’t sit on it.

Pre-orders are open through domestic shops (the listing references a Taobao order link). Product images above via 拆盒 (chaihezi.com).
