Hejin Reconstruction (核金重构), the independent design studio under Chinese maker AniMester (大漫匠), has opened domestic pre-orders for its 1/12 Xuanjian (玄冥緘魄) — a machine girl built on a Chinese jiangshi concept, timed for Halloween as a soul-guiding envoy from the underworld. Designed by artist EOR7, she mixes Qing-dynasty official’s-hat styling with cybernetic prosthetics: a magnetic metal hat crown, translucent hair, gradient sleeves fading from smoke grey to translucent purple, and coin-and-red-cord detailing at the waist.

The package

The figure comes with five interchangeable movable-eye faces — Sealed (included), Infatuated, Arrogant, Disgusted and Enraged — with eyes that can be repositioned using the included adjustment rod. Both hands are articulated prosthetics with three finger segments and rotating finger roots, able to pose like clamping pincers, and they can also be swapped onto the ends of the chains for a more menacing look.

The accessories lean into the soul-guide theme: a magnetic hat crown with a hanging yellow talisman strip, two soul-lock chains in three linked segments each, and a dedicated stand that mounts through a 3mm hole hidden in the waist coins. The sleeves carry one character each — 「惡」 on the left, 「勿」 on the right — and the chest uses a transparent soft part to keep the torso articulated. A first-production bonus adds a translucent talisman and hat tassel for the magnetic hat.

One note from the official art itself: the product is still being refined, so the display images may not reflect the final product.

Price and cutoff — read carefully

Domestic pre-orders carry two reference prices depending on the source: ¥399 on the 拆盒 listing and ¥458 on the bbicn homepage list. Toy-People lists them as the preorder price and the regular price respectively, which would explain the split, but the figures are kept side by side here rather than settled. The cutoff needs the same careful read: bbicn lists 28 November 2026, while 拆盒 lists 8 January 2027 — check before paying, as the window may run past the earlier date. Estimated arrival is 2027 Q2 (拆盒 says June 2027). No overseas retailer listing had appeared at the time of writing, so overseas pricing and cutoffs are not yet available.
