MoonCraft DB-01 Norn Sahr: DawnBlade's 1/12 Armored Commander

MoonCraft (沐刻工作室) enters the 1/12 scene with DawnBlade DB-01 Norn Sahr, an original armored commander standing roughly 18 cm tall. Built from PVC, ABS and POK with die-cast parts, it is a fully articulated figure aimed at collectors who want a mech-adjacent 1/12 with real heft in hand.

The package

Norn Sahr ships with an arsenal: nine pairs of hands — relaxed, open-palm, fists, gripping variants, dragon claws and a pointing hand — plus the Sever twin blades, the curved Endless blade and the Verdict arm crossbow. An expanded-mode replacement part and the commander’s scarf round out the display options, alongside a display stand and instruction manual. Early pre-orders also carried an exclusive Squad Combat Mask head sculpt.

Why it matters

Original 1/12 armored figures with die-cast content are still rare outside the big Japanese lines — most Chinese 1/12 releases lean toward cloth-costume characters instead. At roughly US$80–134 depending on retailer, Norn Sahr prices like a premium import while including a weapon loadout that would cost extra elsewhere. The Q2 2027 release means a long wait, but the pre-order window is open now.
